When you create an account Your name and email address, provided by Apple or Google when you sign in.
When you play Your display name and game history (which movies you placed, scores, turn results). This is stored to make multiplayer work and is linked to your account.
When you use voice guessing A short audio recording of your spoken guess. This is sent to Groq’s speech-to-text service for transcription and immediately discarded — we do not store your audio or the transcript.
When you submit feedback The text you write and your optional email address. App version and platform (iOS/Android) are recorded automatically.
When the app crashes An error report is sent to Sentry, which may include your device model, OS version, app version, and a stack trace. No personally identifiable information is intentionally included in crash reports.

Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Anonymised gameplay records (turns, scores) may be retained without any link to your identity after account deletion, so other players’ game histories remain intact.
Cinescenes is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. The quickest way to exercise these rights is to use the Delete Account feature in the app. For any other requests, contact us at the address below.
We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page if we make material changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
